This test is again from the stable of Focus Technologies (Cypress, CA). The same recombinant gG-1 and gG-2 are used here. This is usable for both HSV-1 and HSV-2. Several clinics and laboratories offer them. This test is also approved by major hospital governing bodies. It is more expensive than ELISA test.

Western blot
It is a very accurate Herpes blood test. But it take more time and is costlier than others. University of Washington has developed this test.
